La catena

A young composer made his career thanks to an earl’s wife, his mistress. Helped by his friend, a lawyer, he tries in every way to break this bond so that he can marry his cousin, but his mistress is not willing to let him go so easily. From this text Georges Feydeau created his famous play Get out of my Hair.
