L’attaché d’ambasciata

Before Franz Lehár’s Merry Widow, there was Henri Meilhac’s Embassy Attaché. The famous operetta is based on this comedy in three acts. Count Prax is commissioned by Baron Scarpa to seduce the wealthy widow Madeleine Palmer to prevent her millions from falling into other hands. The relationship that will arise between the two of them will end up by ruining the Baron’s plans and involving the entire embassy.
