Description
One-act play: 10 to 13 characters, men or women. The script is in Italian language.
In the convent shop of St Mary Jane, business is bad. The Saint’s famous liqueur no longer sells like it used to and the nuns find themselves on the breadline. In an attempt to increase sales, a nun decides to modify the old recipe by adding to the ingredients a new herb found in the vicinity of the convent. The result is so ‘stupefactive’ that it takes customers away from the local drug dealers and creates excitement among the shop-goers.
A comic opera all based on that ‘Mary Jane’ also mentioned in a famous italian song by Articolo 31.
Any public performance must be authorized in advance.
