La pietra di luna

Before Agatha Christie and her Hercule Poirot were born, there was Wilkie Collins and his novels with a mysterious atmosphere. A sumptuous English mansion, a rich rentier, a meddlesome butler, a sergeant who loves roses, a tormented love affair, a missing diamond and a mystery whose solution is perhaps already obvious, or perhaps not. From his novel The Moonstone, Wilkie Collins draws a play full of surprises.
